Subscribe

There are two ways to subscribe to our mailing list:

1. with the web interface to the list service - this requires a University login
2. by sending an email to the list service with a subscribe command - this can be done by external users without a University login

Subscribing via the web interface

1. Log into the web interface.
2. Search for Lists "efdg" or follow https://mlist.is.ed.ac.uk/lists/info/efdg 
3. Click Subscribe from the menu on the left to subscribe to the list
4. Enter you e-mail address and name
5. Click Confirm.

Subscribing via an email

To subscribe to a list via email:

Send an email to sympa@mlist.is.ed.ac.uk with nothing in the Subject: line and in the message body put the following:

SUBSCRIBE efdg first name surname

QUIT

 (replace first name and surname with your own)

If you normally have an automatic signature at the end of your email, please put the word QUIT just before your signature.
